Our beloved boy was having a great time playing and jumped on the back of a dining room chair.  He fell sideways, hitting his head, and was not able to recover his posture.  Cats usually can land back on their feet after a fall, but he didn’t have a chance to as he was too close to the floor.  It was such a freak accident and a sad tragedy in our lives.  His time with us was precious and few.

   Three days prior to his unfortunate accident, unbeknownst to us, he bred our GentleGiants Maybelline, producing GC, GP GentleGiants And Son Tyson.  What a truly special and blessed breeding this was!

   We still to this day miss K.O. Tyson, and he will always have a place in our hearts.

K.O. Tyson Crossed Over the Rainbow Bridge on 12/4/96.

There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth.  It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of its many colors.  Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows, hills and valleys with lush, green grass.  When a cherished cat passes away, they go to this place.  There is always food, water, and sunshine and everyone is warm and comfortable.  All who have been ill and old are restored to health and vigor.  Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in days gone by.  They play all day with each other.

There is only one small thing missing.  Your cat is not with you, the special person who loved them on Earth and had to be left behind.  So, they'll run and play until the day comes when they will suddenly stop and look off into the distance.  Their bright eyes will stare!  Their nose and whiskers will twitch!  Their ears will go up!  Their eager body will begin to quiver!  Suddenly, they'll run from the group, flying over the green grass, their legs carrying them faster and faster ...

You have been spotted!  And when you and your special friend meet, you'll cling together in joyous reunion.  Your hands will again caress the beloved head, and they will curl up on your lap as they have been aching to do for so long.  Their happy purring will echo through the valley like thunder and you'll gaze once more into the adoring eyes of your precious cat, so long gone from  your life, but never absent from your heart ...

Then you'll cross the Rainbow Bridge together, never again to be separated ...
