Welcome!
We are Terry and Judith Null and we
began showing and breeding Maine
Coons in 1991 near Champaign,
Illinois. We relocated our
lives and cattery to Decatur,
Alabama, in 1995. In June,
2001 Terry was transferred with his
job, so we moved to York, South
Carolina. We are now making
our last move to Hawthorne, FL.
This is where we hope to finally
stay.
This is a wonderful hobby for us ... the Maine Coon is truly a "gentle giant"! Along with being very sociable, they are extremely intelligent, often outsmarting you! Maine Coons are known as one of the most laid back cats. Our cats are our official door greeters, dog sitters, and best friends. We welcome you to come visit our cattery. Thank you, Lynn Sherer, for putting us in touch with Donnahugh Cattery and allowing us to use your SGC Calicoon Prince Valiant, producing our first stud, CH GentleGiants Purrci Faith! We are a very small cattery and do in-house breeding. Our cats live with us, where we can give them all the love and attention they need. Our goal is to produce healthy, well-tempered and well-adjusted kittens with wonderful type and size. We strive to raise high quality cats that will love and be loved for a great many years! Our kittens are handled daily and are raised underfoot. Socialization is one of the best gifts you can give your kittens!

Our cattery is FeLv, FIP, and FIV
negative, and our kittens are
vaccinated before leaving us.
We provide a written contract with a
health guarantee, and the kittens
are veterinarian checked before
leaving our home. Upon
request, we will be happy to mail or
e-mail a copy of our contract for
you to view. We require
spay/neuter as the majority of our
kittens are placed in pet or show
alter homes. Our pets are
usually as beautiful as our show
cats!
We show and register our cats as GentleGiants in CFA, ACFA and AACE, where our TICA cattery name and registration is Coonceit. After we had been assigned the cattery name of GentleGiants in CFA and ACFA, we discovered it had already been taken in TICA, causing us to be known as Coonceit in TICA. To avoid confusion, our dear friends Linda and Wayne Gibson have the cattery name Coonceit in CFA, ACFA and TICA. We are proud of our affiliation with these wonderful people!

We work with many different colors, some of which are brown, silver, red, torbies, particolors, and some dilute. Our specialty is the classic tabby, although we do occasionally produce mackeral tabbies and solids. GentleGiants males are usually 15-22 pounds. Our females average 12-18 pounds. We have found grooming to be quite simple-combing weekly keeps their coat in top condition and tangle-free. For
